Yesterday.
Yesterday is a day I'll never forget.
Yesterday marked seven years since Shawn and I started dating.
Yesterday, my niece, Ava turned two months old.
Yesterday, my grandma passed away.

She was an amazing woman, mother of nine, baby sister, friend, and of course, grandma.
She was warm and caring, made the best noodles and always let me eat as many popsicles as I wanted.
She came to nearly everything I did - sporting events, dance recitals, school functions - anything that mattered to us, mattered to her.
She crocheted the coziest slippers and gave them to me for nearly every birthday and holiday.
I teased her about being short once I was taller than her.
She gave the best hugs and always told me to be good.
The last time I saw her, I hugged her, kissed her cheek, told her I loved her and to be good.
She smiled at me and said, "I'm always good."
I love you, Grandma.
Be good up there ;)

I am so sorry about your loss! My grandma passed away last month and that was one of the hardest things for me to go through. One of the things that helped me was thinking and laughing about all the good memories and silly things, so I hope that can help you too. Also, the song "Save a Place for Me" by Matthew West is a great one and it definitely helps me get through the tough moments. I hope you are able to stay stong and I know you will honor her memory.

I just lost my grandpa, five days after my wedding. Its been so hard, so sorry for your loss. Grandparents are such amazing people to have around and so irreplaceable.

I'm sorry for your loss girlie, but it must be comforting to know she's up there spending eternal life with our Father in Heaven! She sounds like a splendid woman, and it must be where you get your awesome qualities from!
